    out of contract?

So who exactly is out of contract at the end of the season?
Assuming we are in League 2, what positions do we need to strengthen and where/who do we need to clear out?

    Goalkeepers
    - David Richards (1 year option)

    Defenders
    Olly Turton
    Perry NG (1 year option)
    Jon Gutherie (1 year option)
    Zoumana Bakayogo

    Midfielfers
    James Jones (1 year option)
    Brad Inman
    Chris Atkinson
    Ryan Wintle
    David Fox

    Attackers
    Callum Saunders (1 year option)
    Marcus Haber
    Lauri Dalla Valle
    Andre Brown (1 year option)

Of that list... I would look to extend the contracts of Richards, NG, Gutherie, Bakayogo, Jones, Wintle and possibly Haber. Although he hasn't really hit the ground running this season, I still think Saunders's extension is worth taking up. I just think he'll become the sort of player who would score 15 / 20 goals in a season and should do alright at League 2.

Sadly, I can't really see Inman sticking around which is a shame as he's only really turned up for 6 months of his 3 year contract, this time last year, Davis was thinking of loaning him out and only conference sides were willing to take a punt. Olly I would expect to be offered

I'd be very surprised if they let Turton & Guthrie leave so expect to see contracts offered to those two, plus Ng, Saunders, Jones and maybe Bakayogo. I hear that Matt Tootle is available so if Turton doesn't sign he may be worth a punt.

Absolutely no chance of Brad signing anything as he'll be snapped up for nothing elsewhere, but really don't know about Haber - just depends what kind of wage he's on. Agree with David that he could be useful in Lge 2.

We need some steel in the team so a combative CM is a must along with an experienced striker like Ryan Lowe. I think the team next season would be:

    Garratt

    Turton - Nugent - Davis - Guthrie

    Cooper - Jones - CM - Bakayogo

    Lowe - Saunders/Kirk

Can we start the clearout with the awful David Fox? What the hell did Davis see in him?!. Also Ben Nugent for costing us points we desperately need. Turton is just out of his depth. No chance of Inman staying but Haber could possibly do a decent job in Lg 2.

I have to admit, this is one I don't get either.
Turton seemed to be doing ok in midfield and James Baillie even better at RB. Saw him in the youth team, he was a stand-out player.
So why did SD change that?
I hear Baillie is down on confidence - but when did that happen? - when he was "dropped"?
    A very odd decision.

Have to agree, every time I've seen Bailie he has been immaculate....and a far better option at RB. Obviously not favoured by SD so he might as well leave.

My understanding is that pre season Baillie was not good. He appears to have lost confidence following the awful challenge from the thug of a left back at home to MK Dons last season. I am guessing he hasn't done enough to convince anyone otherwise. It is certainly not a case of his face not fitting. Turton was a decent midfielder before he was switched to Right Back. He is rather less convincing at RB but he is not awful. I
