    Lee signs for Leeds

He's agreed a 3 year deal with the Championship club.

    The official site says...
"Motherwell FC has protected its rights to training compensation for the player and will now pursue that with the Elland Road club at the point of registration."

All the best to the boy.

Think a big mistake See so many youngsters with agents telling them of the promise land Another season or so with us would have been good for lad and us Saying that all the best and hope we can use the money to unearth some more talent

Not unexpected, and a pity, but not a tragedy; this is the kind of thing we're going to have to put up with in order to stay afloat, I'm afraid. I certainly wish him well - he got stuck in until the last kick of the ball (and beyond!) - and the money will soften the blow. This looks like an opportunity for Craig Moore - as one door closes...

Its not a big mistake , even if he is on a conservative five grand a week a three year deal damn near makes him a millionaire with all the add ons he'll get. Yeah he could stay with us get injured and make nothing out the game hes made the right decision for him. Had he been going to Aberdeen or Dundee utd the mistake arguement might stand scrutiny.

Exactly, with the money he'll earn down there he'll be set up for life, even at the young age he's at. That's good going for the boy and sad as it is to see him go, I wish him the best of luck and hope everything goes well. He leaves us on a high after playing a major part in that stunning two legged thumping of 'Rangers' to keep us in the top flight and for that I'll always be grateful to him.

Very difficult to turn down when that kind of money is thrown at you. Why did McCall not use him more often. He really only made the breakthrough when Baraclough came to the club.

If he had to move then as already been stated better he goes down south than sign for one of our rivals.Any chance of getting him o a season loan deal?

Not a good move for the lad in my view, although it'll be good for his agent. Short term financial gain undoubtedly but he'll have to kick his heels in Leeds reserves for a fair bit of time. The chances are that if Leeeds were interested so were other English Championship clubs.

How can it not be a good move for him? If hes a success he'll get a bigger move if hes duff and cools his heelscas a sub for 3 years he will be a very wealthy young man. Imaginge someone offered you a new job and the worst youd be would be very wealthy at the end of it irrespective of how you perform , you seriously saying youd turn it down. Only thing i see wrong with it is ill nevr be on that kinda gravy train.

Im sure there are some kidderminster harrier supporters saying Marvin Johnstones move to us was a bad move for him and he should have stayed and developed for another year with them.
