    PST chairman passes away

Portsmouth Football Club are shocked and saddened to hear of the untimely death of Pompey Supporters’ Trust chairman Ken Malley.

Ken had led the PST since January 2015 and had been a driving force behind the organisation since its inception in 2009.

Blues chief executive Mark Catlin said: “On behalf of everyone at the club, I’d like to pass on our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Ken and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.

“I have known Ken for almost three years and he will be sorely missed by me for both personal and professional reasons.

“He was a genuinely nice guy, but also a passionate advocate of a better deal for fans at football clubs and his constructive and thoughtful approach is a great loss to both the trust and the club.”

    re: Ken Malley RIP

Very Sad News...Ken was a Pompey Fan and more importantly a Football Fan who went out of his way to help fellow supporters. Although i knew of Ken prior to Pompeys UEFA trip to Wolfsburg...it was actually in Germany when i first met him in person...he was a great person to talk to and offered advice on numerous issues...his love of Pompey and Football was very evident and from that moment on I use to bump into him at "the Meon" pub during pre-match drinks when he popped in! He remembered me and always stopped to have a quick chat. A true gentleman and a great loss to both Pompey and the wider Football family. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this very difficult time.
