    Why has this not led to a 10 point deduction?

    I'm all for supporting clubs who are struggling financially, but I don't get why they are getting away with this. - view external link

    Hmmm. Let's see.

    Well, it's connected to a a continent beginning with the letter 'A' and it's in a direction beginning with the letter 'E'!

    I'll have a vague stab at it.

    I suspect the answer begins with the letters 'P' and 'C'.

    Coming from this continent beginning with 'A', allows you to circumvent a lot of rules that pertain to country 'E'.

    It looks like it is the holding company that has gone into Receivership not the football club. The 'preferred bidder' is supposed to lend money to the football club to keep it going until some sort of deal is done. If they want to write off some of the football club's debts that's when the points deduction would come.
