    Another kind donater

Seems we have been given a donation towards helping out the community trust and new projects within the club. A business man from down south who has family connections to Motherwell is paying for the new equipment for the players and for our fitness expert to qualify to degree level as well as other projects within the community. The feel good factor around Motherwell continues

Just read about this on the official site. This is a tremendous gesture by this guy from Yorkshire, John Walker, whose dad was/is a big ‘Well fan. This sort of funding helps us build even stronger links into the community and that is key to our future, as every new fan is important to this club and community projects improve the standing of the club in our community. Not only that, but part of his financial support is to help improve our players’ fitness as he is helping fund our fitness coach’s PhD and also the purchase of equipment. This is *****, and cutting the injury list not only means more player time on the pitch but significant cost savings.
    Thank you, Mr Walker.

As someone who worked for over 40 years for a rather more famous John Walker, I salute John Walker and thank him most graciously for his financial help to the club.
