In his first season with York he looked way too good for the division but then had a couple of injuries, he didn't look fit last season, a good pre season and he'll be a good signing.

For anyone worrying if he's of the quality of Straker - don't, Straker was a bombscare for York too.

Believe he is only 24 years old so as previously posted a good pre-season's training and an injury free season and he could turn out to be a good signing

Have never heard of the guy so will wait to see if he is as good as he talks ,getting worried though we are shopping in the same shops as we did at Xmas Cmon we are better than this and surely there is young talent in our own leagues waiting for a chance ,looks like another long bumpy season

Not sure what to think at the moment, signings to date are fairly low key so only time will tell. It would seem Scott McDonald is not coming back with the signing of Fletcher and Clarkson, pre season games may give an indication of what lies ahead.

I suppose we have to give them a bit of time, but a Fletcher, Clarkson combo up front doesn't fill me with any real confidence right now.

There is over a month to season starts let's wait and see who starts season and give whoever it is a chance before writing them off before a ball is kicked

I am most definitely not writing him off. However this again concerns me a guy who cant score anywhere comes to us in the hope that he will do wonders with us. Straker is only one example of this kind of player. I want him to do well im just not excited about this

I'd be amazed if we make any signings that get people genuinely excited because virtually no one will really know anything about the market we seem aiming to operate in.

Fletcher might be good, he might be pish, but it's hardly a surprise and certainly no a crime he doesn't get the pulse racing.
