Are We Prepared For The New Season?

In the article in the link below, Kenny Jackett talks about being keen to strengthen the first team. We have had to endure a variety of rumours, but only Jed Wallace has arrived to try to stake a claim for a first team place.

This caused me to look at what we already have on the books. Razak Boukari, Tommy Rowe and Jordan Graham, on the surface, look to have strong first-team potential.

We have had views on Rajiv van La Parra on another thread, but I would be interested to know what the thoughts are on how strong we are with what we have at the moment. - view external link

After the Conor Coady signing, it looks like another striker and another 'keeper and we have cracked it IMHO.

Ian, why don't you put your opinions on view for a change instead of living off everybody elses's? Cutting and pasteing doesn't quite cut it as an excuse either, regardless whether you believe it or agree with it.

You have attended many home games over the years yet you still only want to hear other fans thoughts, you never offer anything yourself! Mich, for eg, has never seen

re: Are We Prepared For The New Season?

What would everybody's starting lineup be if we had a match tomorrow?

    I'd go with a 4-3-3

    Ikeme

    Iorfa-Batth-Stearman-Golbourne
    Henry-Price-McDonald
    Dicko-Afobe-VLP

After they get acclimated, I'd probably put Coady in for Price and Wallace in for VLP. I do like Jack Price, but I just worry that a MF of Price-Coady-McDonald would be too slow when defending.

Although still far too early too tell at this stage, this seems like a fun game to play. I would expect to be looking at something like:-

    4-2-3-1

    Ikeme

    Iorfa-Batth-Stearman-Golbourne

    Coady-McDonald

    Wallace-Afobe-VLP

    Dicko

Going by that I can see why you rely on other people's opinions

Another masterpiece of constructive comment, Gaz.

    Your point being?

    Your suggested team being?

No...I thought not. Just another immature throw-away line. Again, without a shred of humour!
