    Nigel Pearson Sacked

Breaking news on sky sports news channel. Pearson has been involved in controversy this season and his side are rock bottom of the premier league and four points from safety.

A strange decision at this time of the season. With the transfer window closed the new encumbent will only have Pearsons players to work with.

Leicester looked like the most likely newly promoted side to stay up early on. Had that great start with draws against Everton and Arsenal, close win against Stoke and then the exciting 5-3 victory over Manchester United. 8 of 15 to start the season is a start I'd take to a Prem season for Wolves. But only 9 since then. Personally, I think the newly promoted sides will go straight back down. I think Hull, Villa and West Brom will only stay up because the other sides are just that bad.

I think Palace will be there next season, they look on a par to The Baggies, Villa and Hull to me, but they have a bit more get up and go.

As for Pearson, I think his attempt at strangling that Palace player was what most likely caused the board to pull the trigger.

A defeat tomorrow against Arsenal and the sack may become a reality for Pearson

Well according to the BBC football section of their website, Nigel Pearson has been sacked. Differences between the manager and owners seem to be the problem.

Be careful what you wish for Leicester City. - view external link

The conduct of Pearson's son and a couple of other players haven't helped the situation on the post-season tour of Thailand. - view external link
