how about a blazer with our teams badge on it and it red and white hankerchief in the top pocket with the rotherham united Tie and a branded brolly in case it rains
And plan to pop over to see the Americas Cup on Saturday.
Unfortunately can't get to the Red Arrows tomorrow.
Never been to a Yacht Race before although I used to go power boat racing at Bristol docks.
What should I wear for such a prestigious event?
If any collectors want a souvenir then let me know...

Blazer (as loud as you like), open neck shirt with cravat, tailored slacks and boating shoes in case you are invited on board. Panama hat to keep off the sun and you're ready for business. Happy sailing!
I was going to suggest a thong and a smile but Mrs CA tells me that image is making her feel sick.
Just a reminder, if you decide to adopt a surfer look then keep your rash guard off your head![]()

Try the underpants on the head again
Thousands of people used to watch the racing at Bristol Docks John.
It was on the dangerous side of safe as you can imagine...unfortunately with several fatalities.
Lots of things have changed alas..the Mandrake, Bristol General and now you tell me no power boats.
Please tell me..the Coronation Tap is still going strong.
Thanks for the advice re my attire fellas.
If you wear anything football related youll look like a chav. Blazer and ties are out for racing.
You must go casual. The brand is key. Id go with a US brand like Ralph Lauren. Or upmarket Europe casual rugby brand - something like Eden Garden. Or maybe go Canterbury.
Like the RL idea Walter as I've recently bought a polo shirt from groupon.
I did try on a shirt with blue horizontal stripes, a cravat with an anchor on and a cap but it all made me feel a bit awkward...
I think polo shirt, linen trousers with RL underpants just showing and boat shoes will do the trick.
Weather looks good so expecting a great day.
Tickets are free which is a bonus and means I can buy a better Champagne...Bolli at least.
K, for a smart guy your use of English is deplorable. When you state "I used to go power boat racing..." that implies participation which we both know is bull. What you meant is you used to spectate and you could have used either " ...go to power boat racing...", or, better still, "...used to watch power boat racing..." I hope you're less sloppy at your job.![]()
