Loads of people moaned when we gave him a long term deal but at least Curle has a bit of sense and realised he has potential, and credit to Curle for being able to swiftly get rid of players he signed who are not in his plans like Beck and Griffith - who to be fair could do a job for someone else unlike the highly paid deadwood we struggled to move on.

He simply lacked the pace required. IMO
His size was his best asset. But you have to get there to use it.
