SE thought we needed that big bloke up front. JCH is that man, needs to to be shown he's wanted. Our problem got to get defence right. Halford moved to C back with Rawson or Thorpe. Hope Buxton back in for sat'. One more in would be Lafferty.
Grown into a monster of a man physique wise and looked up for it.
Needs a bit more controlled aggression into his game and he could be our surprise package.
For those who did not see him last night..trust me he looks frightening!

Totally agree about JCH. He reminded me last night of a bigger Agard. He has potential to cause opposition defences some real problems with his strength and pace. I noticed he was also winning headers last night as well.
Totally disagree,i watched him warming up......"bone idle" would be an accurate description, others were bending, stretching and twisting, even Woods commented to him about not trying, and when Warney was trying to help him with his first touch it was a total waste of time,he has a touch like an elephant. The only time he livened up was to sign autographs for the kids.I mentioned to my mate when he was preparing for the last minute free kick "it'll go over the stands" I wasn't too far wrong eh ?
Strong rumours that he's about to sign for Barnsley!
Rumours dont mean much...but if this is true for me he can go,if he was any good he would be in the team now.
would do the lad some good to get some game time. A loan deal until January would be a good move. As long as he starts at his loan club!
Didn't pay too much attention to him warming up but I have to say when he came on he made a far bigger impression for his time on the pitch than Bowery who probably won 2 out of 15 headers….
JCH looked sharper more purpose about him and looked liked he 'finally' had a point to prove…thing is can he keep that up? Yes…he's definitely beefed up and looks better for it but how do you bulk up that much in 8 weeks?
Previously received feedback about his performance at Parkgate again that said he wasn't interested but I suppose everyone sees a player in a different light….
Makes for a conundrum for the gaffer who plays up front….Derbyshire surely has to start and any one from five can join him….also thought Ward looked very sharp before copping for that injury that saw him leave the pitch..
Bowery is one who can go, JCH SE won't like cause him he's single minded. doesn't fall in line. But he won't sell him cause he knows there's ability there. Start him sat' its only a friendly, play Maguire up front with him, Ladesma on the right, White on the left, give them some service. Maguire is waisted on the right.
What a shame that we have so called supporters like shytalk..
Of course he is entitled to a different opinion but why be so insulting to our own players?
JCH is still a young lad who is developing his game and needs encouragement not abuse.
Rumour re Barnsley...Like just about every rumour on here...totally wrong.
Chances of selling JCH are nil!
Brin....We wont know how he has put so much muscle on Brin will we?...Maybe his pituitary secretes a large amount of natural Growth Hormone but obviously he did some intensive muscle building work over the summer.
The season hasnt started yet and some having a go[not aimed at Brin] absolutely pathetic!
