St Pat’s block Bolger’s move to Motherwell

    From Yahoo sports...

Meanwhile, St Patrick’s Athletic have rejected a bid from Scottish Premier League side Motherwell for midfielder Greg Bolger, according to the player.

The 26-year-old’s future at Richmond Park has been uncertain throughout the transfer window with several clubs, including Cork City, rumoured to be interested in his services.

“Yes there was a bid on the table from Motherwell and the club rejected it which I wasn’t too happy about but that’s football and have to move on,” he wrote on Facebook

Transfer window in Ireland closes tonight so would have to act quick if we intend making an improved offer

Transfer windows are usually for incoming players, I'd be surprised if we couldn't buy him until our deadline if we make a suitable offer.
