    Hakeeb

Convicted of drink driving. Not a major concern if it was one isolated incident. Unfortunately, if what I heard from a reliable source last season is correct, he is building up a catalogue of isolated incidents. He desperately needs to concentrate on his football if he doesn't want to throw it all away. You can't keep making excuses based on his age as there are hundreds of 19 year olds at clubs up and down the country who are busting a gut to make football their career, most of whom only have a fraction of his potential. Apparently all the advice he receives goes in one ear and out the other. I love watching him at his best and there's no limit to what he could achieve if only he could put his mind to it.

    re: Hakeeb

I was going to post his praises after the match against Barnsley, in which he came on and looked like the only player capable of changing things. But I cannot and will not make excuses for anyone convicted of drink driving, so I'm not going to make excuses for Hakeeb.

I don't even think Gazza had a drink drive conviction at 19
