Fulham v Wolves moved

Wolves due to play Fulham Wed 16 Sept has had the game moved to Tues 29th Sept (same time Brentford host Birmingham ) due to UEFA decision late last week to schedule Chelsea 's champions league match on that date.
Police and safety advisory group both raised major concerns about Fulham, QPR and Chelsea playing at the same time (which is understandable)

Both clubs did everything they could to keep the same date but was impossible.

Some fans are not happy due to short notice as they have already got train tickets etc .
The question is why is it that the league game had to be moved for the champions league, surely they should have known who's games were being played and chose another date, why couldn't they scheduled the champions league game the day before?

The Fulham and Chelsea scenario puts a big strain on the tube and other transport. So makes sense tbh
