    Former Player Update

Now, you can look at this two ways in that they don't play for Queens now so you are not concerned or that because they are ex QoS players ' moving on to better things ' we will have a closer look at how they are getting on . I chose the second option and noticed that Clark ( St J) , Holt, Reilly , McShane and Carmichael were all on the bench for their respective teams this weekend with only Mark Durnan starting in Dunde United's home defeat to Kilmarnock today . I may not need to remind you that Durnan has had some howlers already this season with OG's and penalties conceded . Question is ' Has the step up been a step too far for some or are these guys going to step up to the mark ? '

Nobody can blame them for moving on to bigger clubs with better wages but can't help but think they're wasted sitting on the bench .
We could do with them all back

McShane & Holt started the season in the first team but ended up on the bench after poor performances .

Danny & Gavin have had stop start starts at their new clubs . Danny through injury & Gavin through a player rotation system .
Clark was always going back to be no2 at St Johnstone
Big Durnan has started most if not all games but as JRS has mentioned has had a tough time of it recently

Maybe a step too far or maybe it's still to early to say .

Frustrating though seeing them on the bench when we're struggling so much at the moment .

On the other hand albeit in lower leagues Slattery, Paton, Mitchell, Dzierzawski, have in the main started every game for their new clubs.
