I have just posted in the thread "Where do we go from here" and it is my opinion there will be no shake up as the situation facing CAFC has been engineered by the Board.
A change of manager is not on the agenda although I think he should go.
This has been touched upon on nearly all our threads, but let's have a thread where everyone can post where their allegiance is - I believe it'd be interesting to see where the majority of opinion lies. Are the Davis out brigade in the minority and just more outspoken, or do most of us just want him gone?
I personally think he has well past his sell by date and we need a shake up at managerial level, quickly.

Out.
Interesting that 3 teams above us have sacked their manager already. Any bets that they will still be ahead of us at the end of the season? Again SD's substitutions are baffling and make us worse. For me, time for a change (and not James Collins)

Also interesting to note that all 8 teams relegated from League One over the last 2 seasons sacked at least one, (and sometimes more - Leyton Orient), in the same season of their demise.
In.
I have always maintained that a manager should be given 10 games of a season to try and sort things out and I maintain that stance. If we are still rock bottom after the Southend game, without a win, then I may reconsider that position.
Get another manager in and no change and then what do we do? Sack him. We are not in the market for chopping and changing managers. We have again had a poor start (although I think we are 2 points better off than this time last season) but out football has ben more pleasing on the eye this season and I do believe we will improve our results. One win and confidence picks up. However, I do feel playing with one striker is not helping our cause but we are all better managers from the comfort of our armchairs or seats in the stands.

For me you've hit the nail on the head there, Timmy!
4-3-3 clearly isn't working.
I can see why we are trying it, trying to accommodate both Inman and Coco, neither of whom think defensive, but we have to get the best out of Haber and LDV and playing them up top as a pair is my preference. We all saw how effective the Haber-Ajose partnership was last season. I just hope Steve is not too stubborn to at least try it.
5-3-2 please. It becomes 3-5-2 when we are attacking and back when defending. Team

Worth a try
Davis has to go. Forget about budgets his signings and tactics for the past 3 seasons have been shocking. With all due respect if people think passing the football sideways and backwards is an improvement on last season then we are in serious trouble.
Every game this season our opponents have had more attempts on goal than us.
Look at the crowds dropping each game...how long do we let this continue. 5 seasons 7 seasons 10 seasons just because we won twice at wembley under davis.
Im pretty sure 90% of crewe fans would prefer grant in that team than any of the midfielders we have now. Im quite sure he can play SAFE sideways football plus provide ythe engine and bite king nor fox can provide.
Collins isnt the answer either...we need new ideas from outside the club and before people mention thordason my reply is holland.
