    MANAGER GOING NO WHERE

I think fans should get behind the team and let the management team get on with things, one things for sure we have not got the cash to sack him, doubt he will walk away.if we finish tenth and get through a few rounds in each cup competition we have improved on last season and thats probably as good as we can hope for anything else we take as a bonus.
So lets all just get behind the team and give them as much support as possible,
I am not one of the happy clappy group, just trying to be realistic about the club this season and my expectations considering where were last season.

Well if nothing else you're thread title is accurate in that the manager is going nowhere as he won't be sacked so unless he falls on his sword he's here to stay.

The rest of what you say is just the typical response from the section of our support who just refuse to see what is in front of them.

For starters, I think you'll find that most of if not all of the support have been getting behind the manager and the team and are merely reacting to the continued let down from both parties in terms of performances, results and also transfer activities. We whimpered into the playoffs last season despite having ample opportunity to avoid it and after yet another rebuilding job by the manager in the summer we are currently in an even worse position in the league than we were 12 months ago. The games we have managed to win have been scraped and fortunate in a mirror image of early last season and our overall performances have been dire with no signs of the "high pressing, quick moving" st

I've been subscribing to that view for long enough. The evidence is overwhelming and I presently see no sign of recovery in the foreseeable. That squad are capable of more but under Baracloughs tutorage, I just cannot share your optimism.

I said on here prior to the play offs that whatever the outcome of the playoffs, dark days were ahead and I'll stand by that. But in typically Scottish fashion, I'd rather we marched to our deaths with at least a demonstrable game plan of escape and a bit of guile than go down with spluttering acceptance.

I admire your optimism but in your heart of hearts, do you honestly think you'll be saying that this time next week????

Sorry Director but the fans have more than backed the manager and team not just in this seasons games they have never let the team or manager down with their support.Pity the same can't be said for the manager and team every time we have what looks like a ***** game,Hamilton away three times so far Thistle away and St.Mirren away last season we are told by both manager and players how important it is we get a result but unlike the fans the team never turn up for these games and we lose them all.If the fans start to adopt the same attitude which will surely happen if we continue with our dismal performances then Les will have real difficulty getting his investment back.If something is broken surely it is better to fix now than to wait until it is unrepairable.

Got to agree this team imo are much better than results showing as players like mcmanus.mcdonald,johnston.Ainsworth etc all showed their abilities against Rangers so why cant he get them to play like that most weeks as currently they are back to what we witnessed most of last season
