    Walsall match

A decent point earned. We made them look like Real Madrid for the first 15 mins - Nugents goal sparked us into life, and we became a bit more dangerous. 2nd half we weren't great, Garrett pulling off a couple of decent saves. The young lad Wilson looks as though he could have a bit about him.
Following wasent best for a relitively short trip (400 the official fig given) although it isn't the most inspiring place to visit!.
Stewards were daft - seemed as they were bored and were trying to agitate the young uns.

Thanks OgerAlex. From the deathly hush for the last 24 hours on here I thought that I'd got the score wrong and we'd got hammered! Point at Walsall, 2nd in the table can't be bad, even if the stats don't look good again. At least Ben's getting plenty of practice! Bring on Southend, sadly without Mohsni.

I have been searching through the notices of both the local and national newspapers can't find anything regarding the demise or whereabouts of itwasin or mikesb. Strange that as they were always posting on here, hope that they are both ok.

I was thinking it had been quiet. Nothing like a couple of good results to shut everyone up

Totally agree, I stopped posting on here as the negativity became boring, same old quotes. At the end of day we are a small town club, with a small fan base, with limited resources, we are the only league club in the county, we do have a pretty good set up, maybe the club is run by people who believe the clubs survival is more important than the league we play in and maybe the business model does need to be reviewed but I do think there have been some real positives from the last few games and we have a good chance with the next two home games to lift ourselves up, at the end of day I will still support the Alex whatever league we are in.
