    He's gone

Club Twitter just confirmed that the club have parted company with Ian Baraclough.

    Thank the Lord!

Totally agree he had to go but there are players picking up wages from the club and giving absolutely nothing in return, not one player in last nights shambolic performance looked embarrassed by their efforts.Next manager has to be of a strong character and not let the "Old boys"dominate the dressing room,he should also introduce extra training sessions as we don't look any fitter now than we did pre-season

Your right, the guy didn't have a clue. Hopelessly out of his depth. Same goes for most of the players he signed.

The player clean out needs to include chalmers, Johnson, Grimshaw, Robinson, Mcmanus, Leitch, Clarkson, Taylor, Law

We can only be delighted he's gone...he deserves a decent farewell for the Rangers games alone but that high apart, we have spent tonnes of money on a massive squad, are hardly better than we were before, and now have another relegation battle ahead with players who surely know they're likely on a clear-out list.

And for all the relief of sacking him, this was likely the easy bit - much harder will be finding someone willing to accept our conditions who can improve us.

Dont think we need to worry about willing candidates to take the Job on. Football management will always be oversubscribed because as unlike doing real jobs its a financially rewarding gig even if you are papped out after a year. You don't need to be that bright to get a good pay day for a year or two. The difficulty will be unearthing the right person from the large number of applicants we will get.

Oh aye and for once can we all bin the idea if you are Dutch and have played for us you are an ideal candidate.

What about someone who has watched our club for over 45 years and has experienced the highs and lows during that time.Has witnessed our total lack of tactics recently and is willing to do the job of manager for free thus saving the club some money for new players haha my application is in the post
