It had to happen as it was the only sensible course of action. Well done to the board for making the right decision, I didn't think they would but they have so credit where it's due. Now they need to make sure that they now make the right appointment.

As for Baraclough, he seemed a good and likeable guy but it was patently clear that he was woefully out of touch with the task in hand and out of his depth. Although his time was overall, a major disaster, I'll always hold a bit of gratefulness for the manner in which we dispatched 'Rangers' and Stuart McCall in such emphatic fashion in those playoff ties, two games where IB did manage to get the players to step up and he did get it right. Sadly that was a flash in the pan though and looking at the bigger picture then he just had to go.

Yes the board moved fast to placate the fans and try to still get a reasonable crowd on Saturday. But board must get the next appointment of a manager totally right or otherwise our club could be in real trouble both on and off the park.We have to go with someone who has a proven record and has an idea about what is required in Scottish football no longer can we just go for the cheap option as it usually costs us dearly in the end.

We need someone who can pick players from up here instead of us going to lower leagues in England all the time there js talent up here as I'm East Fife Center forward and Samuel from last night worked harder last night than our midfield has done all season

Glad to see the back of him really, a disastrous appointment from the start, how the board took him on in the first place defies logic. Out of all the candidates for the job they pick a nonentity like Baraclough. It's crucial the board make the correct appointment this time, if they can't they would be as well following him out the door.

I knew he was a dead man walking, but I must say I expected him to have one last shot to save himself on Saturday. The Board certainly acted quickly in light of last night's result.

Nothing against him as a person, but was a bit out of his depth at Fir Park, and it just didn't work for him here.

It's not nice when anyone loses a job, so good luck to him for the future.

Never nice when someone is fired but it was the right decision and the Dire4ctors are to be commneded for acting quickly and decisively. Lets hope the selection process doesn't drag on too long.
