    Arbroath 4-0 Shire

Quietest it's been post match on these boards this year following our best performance of the year..... coincidence?! :-D

Every player did their job today, another very solid performance at the back and the confidence that has come back to the players was there for all to see. The 4-5-1 system seems to have done the trick for us, and despite only playing one upfront we were rather entertaining for the majority of the game, with 22 shots and a dozen or so good chances to score created.

I don't think any team in this league has really stood out as being better than the rest, with every team lack consistency and considering we're not even a quarter into the season yet, we really could finish anywhere on the evidence we've seen so far.

A performance today of the standard the Paul Sheerin team of 4 years ago produced see's us match that championship winning teams points total from the first quarter with a game to spare.... TODD MUST GO???

Only my second game of the season, but as I said at full time, Simon, it will be quiet on Arbroath Mad tonight.

No failures across the whole team, including the players, the set up, the tactics and the management. Chances a-plenty, and I don't recall Fleming having to make a single significant save. All in all, a thoroughly professional performance.

However, they failed to score 5. Todd must go!!!!! X-D

Well done to the Lichties again! Most impressive performance of the season so far. It feels like a long time since we were that comfortable in a game. Roll on Annan!

I'll be eating my hat soon at this rate!

First match I've made in a good few months, and I was expecting a terrible, miserable performance, Lumsden oot, doom and gloom, and all that...but really, I don't know what you've all been whinging about! That was outstanding!

The team looked well balanced, confident throughout, willing to try tricks and shots, comfortable on the ball, and if it had been 7-0, it wouldn't have flattered us. More of that please!

Ha. Ha. Only one housecaptain. Only one.

It fits now my 'Jedward' doo is gone, and will go down nicely with a fine, maroon coloured, wine and some smokies. Should Todd Lumsden gain us promotion of course! Which for the record I sincerely hope and pray happens.

P.S. I'm wearing my contact lenses this week so I don't get confused for speckyboy!
