Theres been a string of managers linked at some point throughout the Summer, Allardyce, Viera, Mazzari, Pearson, and Dyche to but a few, it seems that stories and rumours are gathering pace now and going into the Eigth game of the Season still on only Two points really is setting the tone and the run up to Dick`s exit should he lose it..

    Praying for a win...

We get our hopes built up every time a new manager is appointed...which has been a lot over the last 10 years!...and its still the same sh1te every time...maybe because Sam get's slagged off a lot by Newcastle and West Ham fans, and most Sunderland fans don't want him either it might work out the opposite way and he becomes a great manager here

Staples, mate-the leopard won't change his spots. I thought he did really well at Bolton, especially when he brought in all those foreign lads in the twilight of their careers who seemed determined to show they could still play and they played some exciting stuff. Nowt like that when we got him-it was dull, dull, dull. No flair, route one, don't let the other team score and maybe nick one at the other end (very much like fish lips). Ask most west Ham fans and they'll say similar. He's like a slightly better version of Pullis. Aye, you'd be organised but you'd be bored sh!tless eventually. I know a lot of folk say they'd settle for that compared to the struggle around the arse end of the league you've had the last few years but sooner rather than later you'd want more. You'd want a style of football which got you off your feet and you just wouldn't get it with Allardyce. .

Fok me, this is starting to sound like a proper footy discussion.

Sunderland Fans are NOT, nor EVER have been, as demanding either vociferously, as demonstratively, or as in expectation as Newcastle Fans and theres a little difference Right there....We`ve never had anything like that which you had during the keegan years but the closest thing being our spell under Peter Reid...(which was fantastic)

Five Managers in Four years tells its own story, that we really are striving at last for just ONE special person to take this Club to the next level, ( where we really should be ) everything else from, the Fans, the Stadium, the Academy, and the SAFC Pyramid system is all in place..

We dont really expect much, but hope for so much better, we just await lift-off!
