    Mr. Allardyce tomorrow morning

I would love to be sitting in the first meeting with the team, when he tells them some home truths, Don't think some of them will have been spoken to like that for a long time, feckless, lazy and overpaid prima donnas that they are.

All of us that understand the game and have watched the first eight games this season, have witnessed players that cannot be arsed to deliver.

The gaffer watched our game against Wet Spam and rightly identified that the defence needs tightening up, and I am sure that he can get the best out of the players that he has at his disposal, he is a motivator.

The defence is a shambles, nobody covers each other and give away really soft goals. To often they get caught out of position on the counter attack, and are to slow to recover.

Defence starts from the point that you lose possession, that means your players have to adapt to their defensive role, our players are to slow to do that. To get the ball to the attackers we have to get it from the back

Good post Dickie, the next few weeks will be interesting, to say the least. I think that PVA could be on thin ice.

It dosent look as though its gonna be Reid sadly, but does say he wants to build on Reid`s legacy...Others in the frame are Phil Brown, Neil McDonald, Kevin Nolan, and Steve Round..Hmmm!

"Getting in my assistant is a priority. I have a few irons in the fire but nothing definite as yet and i wont disclose who it is until i get a yes from them. When i get my number Two in then i`ll be happy." Says Sam!

Agree with most points in Dickies post, and also the `bad core` that a lot of fans refer to in relation to the recent Player-Power problems that have dogged the last Few Managers... I think theres Five of them...Fletcher, Brown, Oshea, Larsson & Cattermole, Sam has to get them all Rowing in the same direction as everyone else otherwise there may be more trouble ahead methinks!

An Allardyce / Reid Management combo would have been ideal for this purpose as long as they could keep Margaret Byrne away and out of Players Conduct & Welfare!
