Don't want to see anyone lose their job but Fowler is under major pressure now . An abysmal performance and result
We were abject again today. I can see us getting embroiled in a relegation battle unless the board act.

Me too. Im sick of his constant complaint at hooper to boy is trying very hard but everythimg seemed to get thrown at him. Higgins was a disaster roday. And jacobs isnt a right back. He has good players but he doesnt have a team. They have not got a clue what they are doing and neither does james. Why is conroy on for the full game every game he offers nothing. Mybe an impact sub at best. Hilson looked very good but again looks injured and will be out for a while. I feel we miss caracters like burnsy. He would of made a good manager. I feel its time up for james and hopfully soon before its too late
I will keep faith in Fowler for now. We have been struggling all season with injuries and he HAS to play players in different position to cover for injuries. Like it or not but Queens do not have the money to have lots of cover for every position and have to rely on ****agers who will not be consistent. YES we were terrible at the back today, however last week we were good. YES Chris HIggins is struggling for form but that can't be blamed on Fowler. We need supporters to be behind the team and not leave when we lose a few games. Problem at Queens is that we have over performed in last few seasons...we lost 12 first team players and struggled to get a settled team due to injuries. It is far too early to want anyone sacked and I am sure we will get better. If we finish in top 6 this season it will be ok as long as we keep team together for next season to push on. C'MON QUEENS!!!!!
There is something fundamentally wrong with both the team selections and the structure based upon the last few games. Why do we not have a recognised right back in the team? Rutherford was signed to fill that position but I cannot recall seeing him play at Palmerston and is he permanently injured. We have tried Brownlie, Kidd and now Jacobs in the position and none are good enough there. Last season we had Hooper play there a couple of games and he appeared better than any of the options Fowler is not opting with.
What do they do all week at training as I can see no obvious structure to the teams play and too often we resort to lumping the ball up to the front where inevitably we lose possession?
Sorry but this is just not good enough and although i think we have the players the management does not appear up to the task in hand it and they need a rocket up the proverbial from the board before it is too late.
I lost faith before a ball was even kicked.
It was pretty obvious from the caliber of his signings and especially the appointment of the assistant manager that this season would be one serious struggle.
If there were any signs of hope it wouldn't be so bad but EVERY SINGLE GAME we are utter garbage to watch. Its like drawing teeth.
For anyone still clutching hope, face facts, its not going to get any better.
Beaten at home 4 -1 against a side bottom of the league who played Rangers mid week is just simply not good enough. I would give him till the Alloa game.
The injury situation hasn't helped Queens at times but there's no excuse for performances like that yesterday .
Knew this season was going to be difficult but the majority of performances so far have been unacceptable . Too many passengers in the side - nos mentioned![]()
Have the players lost faith in Fowler?
The way we are playing (or not playing) certainly looks like it
Who'd be a football Manager ? Alan Johnston and Jim McIntyre move on at the right time ( for them not QoS ). James Fowler had us playing some decent football last year and got us to the play offs which made it a pretty decent season. Then the backbone of the team move on and he is left to rebuild the team. I, for one, didn't expect him to find able replacements for Durnan, Holt, Carmichael & Reilly and notwithstanding the fact that the players brought in are his players they are simply not good enough. He is in a tough position now and may only have a few games left depending on results. If the rumours about the length of time the players spend training are true I would imagine the BOD ( all hardworking Business people ), Businesses sponsoring Queens and most importantly the hardworking fans will feel they are being made a fool of. I can't imagine this is the case and would be very disillusioned if this proves true. I have a mate who was at University in Aberdeen when SAF was Manager a
