I can only nominate places I've been, and Slough is a place I would not like to live. Liverpool has a nice waterfront.
Liverpool always smacks of desperation and sorrow for me when I have visited.

haha Claw I was going to say Slough. I worked there for a while and a right sh!thole
A lot of people think Swindon is but Slough beats us on this score
Sir John Betjeman sums it up below

Come friendly bombs and fall on Slough!
It isn't fit for humans now,
There isn't grass to graze a cow.
Swarm over, Death!
Come, bombs and blow to smithereens
Those air -conditioned, bright can****s,
Tinned fruit, tinned meat, tinned milk, tinned beans,
Tinned minds, tinned breath.
Mess up the mess they call a town-
A house for ninety-seven down
And once a week a half a crown

Evening Gaz. I recently returned to London with my two sons for a mate's funeral. I took the opportunity to show them the area where I used to live before moving to France in '73.....Lewisham and Catford. Jeez it's f***ing changed and now must be high up on the list of worst places to live in England.

I used to work with a chap who when asked to describe Nelson said... it's full of P*kis and dog sh-it.
Who am I to argue?
For me Hull and Croydon. Went to Hull recently with the Nobbers and all I saw going to the game was a seriously run down area with more boarded up houses than I have ever seen. Characterless Croydon and full of cheap hotel chains always offering deals and a pass through to and from centre of London.
I thought Hastings was ok AlfieOriginally Posted by alfinyalcabo
