    Cruciate ligament injuries

Is it these artificial pitch's or the boots or a combination of both ? Whatever it is I hope the powers that be pull their finger out for a change and find a solution.

There was quiet a few last season but this season they are happening far to often, its not fair for the individual who suffers this injury but for teams with only a sprinkling or maybe just the one star player it could have a devastating impact on their season.

I don't care if sponsored contracts with boots have to be dropped or new "proper" pitch's have to be laid, something must be done as soon as possible, Football is awash with money, paid mostly by the ripped off working man so expense is not an issue so get it sorted.

Apparently Ingsy did his when turning on the pitch...needs looking into as it's definitely happening far too often..

    re: Cruciate ligament injuries

We have lost two key players this season, both identical injuries under identical circumstances. Both Will Hughes and Craig Forsyth went down when turning on the pitch. Last season we lost George Thorne with the same injury and again under similar circumstances.

    No longer a coincidence.
