Some thoughts on the Curious Incident of Best’s Elbow in the Daytime

Football supporters the world over tend to suffer from a curious affliction. It is curious because it does not have a. It is not congenital but it can be inherited from a like minded parent. Nor is it necessarily contagious, but it can be acquired at an early age by standing in close proximity to other sufferers on the terraces at your local football ground or at the bar of the Sheppey in Maltby. Although it does not have a we are all familiar with its symptoms. They manifest themselves in the following ways:

    Deep thinking there!

You are correct in what you say but it does have a and the is Bias.

On the Best foul I said that the I didn't think that it was anything dirty because I was looking ahead of play to see where the ball was going and which of our players was going to benefit from the flick on or indeed which of our players was in a position to defend.

If I was a Leeds fan (heaven forbid) I would have been looking at the defender and what kind of tackle/block he was going to make.

If I was a referee I would be looking at the challenge and if I was a linesman I would be looking for an offside from a flick on which would include who touched the ball last to enable me to give the correct decision.

All in all f, is the correct answer

Looking at many of our fans I'd say they have the more serious Hasberger Withfriesandacoke Syndrome.

Whatever happened to the poster hudielbow - I think he's best qualified for giving a judgement on this case.

Watched the incident on Youtube at normal speed - still quite difficult to see exacrly what happened/judge if there was "intent" from Best
Presumably the ref had a much clearer view?
