aucks first and then everyone else..

Happy new year..! Doing very little for it myself, jools Holland then a walk around this sleepy small French village at midnight UK time. My nephew(uh ho) has taken over the village hall here with the local lads and lasses, so might pop in for a beer with them.

    Happy New Year, JR.
Yes, it's already 9.45am here. I've just got up, and it is raining heavily. Good news, actually, because parts of NZ already have water-restrictions, which doesn't usually happen until February.
Perhaps this is the year when Rovers start to head upwards again. (And I want no sarcasm from you, Alf).
    Have a good one, everybody.

    HNY everyone (or is it?)
Just returned from trip and saw Bolton result last night - oh dear.
That old negativity is kicking in again big time I see.
This was never likely to be a easy ride in transition, but it seems either the man can't hack it, or the playing staff can't (going off comments on here)
But put into perspective, this was a derby with Notlob fighting for their lives, on their patch.
We are under a new structure trying to find the optimum tactic, whilst having to wait for the chance to rotate some staff.
My age old problem of a isolated JR and with it a real lack of midfield nouse seems to be the constant theme. But the new problem of our consistent performers 'dropping off' is more of a concern now.
Is it just possible they don't want to buy into PL's methods?
I would say wait until end of Jan / mid Feb before getting overly concerned.

First of all happy New year each and every one of you
touching on what you said despair
I am a little surprised that Paul Lambert not only resorts to long ball tatics but also persisting with them in the obvious light of it clearly not working
Will this result in changes come January?doubt it however I fancy a raft of changes in the summer
my concern is next year is looked apon as the year to go for promotion but if you look at our team we will need alot of changes to be in the elite
if you look at Boro for example they have been moulding a team for promotion over a few seasons
We need to fast track that process
    **** or bust time

Robin, both of us thought back in Nov or so that we were very close to '**** or bust' time for Venkys, and more than likely post 2016/17 would probably be time up.
So really nothing's changed as far as I'm concerned.

    This is just the problem
it is asking alot for Paul Lambert to turn this squad into a promotion winning one so then you look at buying yourself out of trouble
which isn't always one that works
