Kevin De Bruyne / Archie Bell

Two footballerss you don't hear used together very often but De Bruyne has just done an Archie Bell and kicked the corner flag when going to take a corner . Archie done this whilst playing for Queens against Rangers in a friendly match some 20 odd years ago much to the amusement of McCoist , Durrant , Hateley and co

Yes mate remember it well July 1992 a 7 - 1 shagging for Queens. Big Mark Hateley got a hat - trick that day.

I remember Archie Bell came from a real rough housing estate in Kilmarnock called New Farm Loch or Lock. I also remember seeing him playing a friendly and raving about him at work before realising soon that he was absolute dung.

He once skied a pen v Stranraer at the Cley Hole that is still floating about in space often mistaken for a Russian satellite.

He was slow and wasn't very flexible . Stiffer than a Ron Jeremy 70's film.

It's been reported that British astronaut Tim Peake has spotted the ball from Archie Bell's penalty miss from the international space station

Certainly remember that penalty in the Scottish Cup at Stranraer. Think we lost 4-1 that day. To say it landed in space and is still floating there is exaggerated, but I'm sure it landed on the Larne ferry halfway across the Irish Sea.
