    Please please please

Let us go out and show a bit of fight , guts and passion today. Not the whimpering $HIT we have been witnessing for months. This request is more in hope than expectation.

Hoped for and got. Sounded scrappy until the penalty but we made the most of it.

A week of breathing a little easier until the trip to that graveyard in Hamilton...

Well done. Some good stuff in second half. Back to back wins needed.

We were better than we were last week and as much as they deserved Pelter's last week they deserve due credit today. They kept trying to play football. McDonald was man of the match by a mile. Lasley played very well as did Cadden. No real failures anywhere but still have the bad habit of falling back in last 15 mins but instead of holding out they re asserted their dominance in last 5 mins. Pearson was a bit anonymous and despite the guy next to me citing Johnstons goal as justifiable reason that he's brilliant and not ****e I would say he had a better game but he's still along way short of a decent player. However at least he got pass marks today the first in a while. Really couldn't have cared less how they played today the only thing that mattered was winning and they did so well due in all happy round.

Ripley could be warming subs bench shortly if he keeps up the howlers.

I would have no problem with Samson coming in as think Ripley taking his place for granted and feel concentration is lacking a bit

For once this season our players were giving as good as they were getting in the physical department of the game. Our talking was more determined as we looked to win balls all over the place, also closed opposition down faster and for about 80 minutes further up the pitch.Must adopt the same "we will not loose" mentality against Accies, but we will have to keep the ball on the deck more or we end up playing their type of football.

Happy with the result yesterday. The game was a bit scrappy until Thistle were forced to play a more open game after the loss of the penalty. Overall we deserved the win although it was frustrating that we sat back in the last 20 minutes leading to loss of an inevitable and avoidable goal. Wouldn't blame Ripley for it though as the ball moved a lot in the air at the last minute.

StevieX - you have summed up the game very well. I thought Lasley had an excellent game. Took quite a crunch early on but just got up and played his heart out. Skippy's control was exemplary and, as a whole, the team performed very well. Thought their closing down was as good as I have seen for a long time. I'm sure Ripley was angry at himself for losing the goal but over the season has has made a lot of good saves and has been a big plus for us.
