It was in 1946, a crowd crush incident similar to Ibrox and Hillsborough.
So maybe not too different than today where South Yorks Police now make crushes of their own by holding back fans in a confined space.
The incident on Millmoor Lane v Swansea wasn't too dissimilar only on a matter of scale and daft use of police horses by......yes South Yorkshires finest.
