Happy day indeed.
Wins coming from behind are always particularly impressive and downing a very resilient Aberdeen deserves special praise.

Congratulations to the manager and players on this result. An absolutely stunning result in most adverse of circumstance leading up to the game', I was hoping prior to the game maybe we could sit in and steal a point, never thought we would win.
What a turn around in performance since McGhee took over granted we lost some points earlier but the McDonald, Moult partnership has been phenomenal. Ainsworth contributing more now also coming off the bench, more of a team result. Really happy today. Can't wait to see YouTube highlights can't get BBC video in Canada. O Happy Day????????????

2 wins in a row from 1 0 down shows great bottle well done guys
Absolutely MAGIC!!!
Superb turnaround in the second half and we battled well throughout and didn't let them settle.
Aberdeen brought a huge support down today and GIRU every single last one of them. There are few better feelings in football than sticking it to that shower of tight fisted, parochial scabby Doric mutants, especially when the result means so much to them. I hope they are all pig sick tonight.
Yes LSM I too am gloating on this one, what little info can be gleamed from BBC and Twitter it seems we stuck to the task, even falling behind to a penalty we appeared to keep at the task and Fletcher should perhaps have put the issue beyond doubt late in the game. Prior to the game Before the bug struck the club would have been happy tic to get a point, in events leading up to game like JWOK posted pre match chances 'slim t o none'
Can hardly contain myself. BBC says deserved win for mighty Well!
We fought so hard throughout they all deserve tremendous credit. I thought big Kennedy was outstanding. Moult has the heart of a lion and never gives up. I said and the start of the game I'd love Reynolds to make an @rse of it and he did ....lol. Not sure we deserved outright victory but I'll take it ...well done to all the players.
I remember when our fans used to scream for Reynolds to be picked for the Scotland squad I argued that Reynolds pace covered a lot of shortcomings in his game and when he loses his pace he will be a bombscare. That day has dawned he was honking.
Maybe didn't deserve outright victory Steviex but sure as hell makes up for all the times we should have taken points and threw it all away in the last 5 minutes, can honestly say I was not impressed by Aberdeen for a team supposed to be challenging for the tittle.Would like to single out Louis Moult for his display today he must have covered every blade of grass on the pitch today, and even found the time and energy to make runs that Ainsworth when he came on should have made.Great win and well done to all the players, manager and back room staff enjoy the international break.
A hugely important win today which maintains our momentum in rising out of the relegation dogfight and gives us an outside chance of a top 6 place. All the more impressive when you consider t our injury & illness problems. So, credit to the management and players. I thought Ripley, Kennedy, McManus and Johnson were the pick of the bunch with the tireless Moult just edging the MOTM award.
An impressive fightback from being a goal down. Although there wasn't much in it, Aberdeen benefitted from lady luck. Moult's shot rebounding off the post with Brown beaten and the referee ignoring a clear foul on Johnson in the lead up to the penalty award.
Onwards and upwards!
If Dundee Utd beat Dundee today its more than an outside chance, Dundees game in hand is against Celtic.Originally Posted by Wellup4it
We'll also need to keep an eye on Partick and Inverness. Certainly a United victory today would help our quest.Originally Posted by steviex
