    PL Relegation

Which teams will come down, do you think?
Villa look doomed, but in the next few weeks we have the North-East derby, and then Norwich at home to both Newcastle and Sunderland.
Championship gates will definitely be up next season if Norwich survive and the other three come down, but having those three in our Division certainly wouldn't make challenging for promotion any easier!

If Villa,Newcastle and Sunderland go down, they will most probably go straight back up

Villa are in massive trouble, could drop right through to league 1 like wolves did.

I am going to agree with saxo here i would throw Newcastle in that as well both villa and Newcastle will be ill prepared for the championship style of football and for villa especially could possibly do a wolves
the key to the championship is having a squad capable of Saturday Tuesday style fixtures
some teams like Burnley came down fully prepared others like ourselves were not instead filled the team with has beens not up to the task.

Absolutely robin. Newcastle have all the other bottom 3 teams to play so its in their hands. So yes,at least 2 clubs with big followings will come down.

This has got even more interesting after the North-East derby finished in a draw.
Villa can't escape; Palace and Swansea COULD get dragged in; realistically, though, it looks like any two from Norwich, Sunderland and Newcastle.
On April 2nd, Sunderland are at home to WBA. That looks winnable, as West Brom have little to play for, but these "must-win" games often cause nerves.
Meanwhile, Norwich and Newcastle actually meet. Perhaps Benitez will create the surge-effect that is common with a new manager, but a nil-all draw looks very possible.
Norwich are at home to Sunderland too, a fortnight later. Those two games could be the key to survival for Norwich.
I bet it goes right down to the final day again, but it's hard to see how BOTH of the North-East clubs can survive.

If Newcastle and villa drop they will both struggle due to having squads ill prepared for championship football
rumours going around that Pearson is lined up for villa when they get relegated if that happens then I will be concerned otherwise they do not bother me
this is on the contrary to villa fans who arrogantly say they will walk the championship.

I just hope Newcastle go down , cant stand em . All the "the fans deserve much better" shyte . Why do they ? Its a massive city with big crowds compared to a lot of others , but so they should have big crowds , theres no other worthwhile club around until you get to Sunderland . So crowds compared to catchment area their support is nothing special. After them Villa another deluded lot, thought they were clever singing "empty seats mi lord" to us . Not so clever now eh .
