Surprised and deeply saddened to hear about Victoria Wood's passing a couple of days ago - she was one of the few female comedians (correction, one the few comedians) who could actually make me laugh out loud.

A very talented lady and far too young to have left us.

I'll always raise a smile to The Ballad of Barry and Freda - 'bend me over backwards on me hostess trolley'. Pure genius.

RIP, VW.
