So if in the end we have fallen foul of FFP this season and haven't escaped to the Prem where we can give the FL two fingers we'll be in the proverbial next season. The FL will make an example of us by putting on a transfer ban, a heavy fine and points deduction. Happy days!

This season was a one off where you had to stay within a £15million loss.
Sorry Swales I didn't realise the accounts had been submitted yet.
Our chairman and our CEO have both said we are in a very good position going forwards even if we wernt to be promoted this season , so I think I'll go along with that until the FL say otherwise. I know all you red dogs will be foaming at the mouth hoping we follow in your shambolic footsteps but it's not going to happen.Originally Posted by Polish_ForestMad
Firstly, I doubt that we have broken the FFP rules. Stephen Pearce and Sam Rush are both very capable individuals and unlikely to have accidentally put us in a position where we can't meet the allowable deviation. It is never going to be a precise calculation as income is variable. A severe downturn in form, leading to significantly lower attendances and reduced corporate spend could have caused a problem, but that didn't happen. Therefore, you have to assume that we've met or exceeded our income projections. Consequently I believe that we can rule out an accidental rule breach.Originally Posted by ramspride
It is possible that Mel gave orders to ignore the rules and just go for it - so
They haven't but its a fact that we are within FFP unless someone at the club is telling porkies and given the public utterances that's not likely. Morris had not planned the current 15-16 seasons budget on gaining promotion so there is no worry on that score.Originally Posted by ramspride

The £13m limit for 2015/16 is in line with the losses permitted under the new regulations which will permit a maximum loss of £39m over a rolling 3 season timeframe.
We are within £13 million losses for the current season - not forgetting that an owner is permitted to contribute funds into a club as long as they are either a donation or converted into equity, that is it cannot be a loan upon which interest is paid.
The club has not abandoned its policy of complying with FFP, it just has more resources within that framework.
