Good list that mate.
Just need a manager first then who knows.
Heres a few I like
Romaine Sawyers Walsall - 24 year old attacking midfielder out of contract....very good player go get him.
Sam Mantom Walsall - 24 year old central midfielder out of contract, another good player.
Matt Taylor Bristol Rovers - 26 year old striker out of contract 26 goals last season.
Nicky Maynard MK Dons - 29 year old striker
Good list that mate.
Just need a manager first then who knows.
Maynard - 6 goals in 35 appearances for Franchise (Wikiipedia)
Decent enough list.
Sawyers has been offered a 3yr deal and Mantom has been offered a 2yr deal by Walsall.
Maynard's is a free agent but his best day's were at Bristol City who paid more than £2m for him.
Matty Taylor may be worth a gamble especially if Derbyshire and Best can't agree terms.
Matt Taylor for me too.
Some decent suggestions in this thread.
Plus there is an element of realism too because we're probably going to have to look in the lower divisions and hope the players we sign can make the step up.
Hope the new manager is installed early next week so he can make a quick start in the recruitment campaign.
Would rather look to the lower division's than take on journeymen that are here for a last payday.
Birmingham City have looked at Matt Taylor but decided against signing him.
Agree with that Frank. We have to be realistic and there are some real gems in the lower divisions.
Remember a certain Matt Tubbs, who Steve Evans wanted to pay a £1million for, now on transfer list, club wanting around £80,000, so a big drop in valuation.
Not sure Eric but I think Portsmouth have released Matt Tubbs for free.
