    Neil Baker the legend

What a night a tribute to Neil at the Alexandra suite for those that weren't there Neil thought he had been invited to a wedding anniversary party wrong he came through the door to face 340 + fans family x players singing there is only one Neil Baker he was gob smacked I would just like to say thank you to all that organised a fantastic night food entertainment and raffle prizes I'm sorry I don't know all that were involved but Graham Mcgarry,Scott and old Johnny Rodgers . X players that were there included Dean Ashton,Shaun Smith Efe ,Steve Jones and Luke Murphy plus lots more. The programme is brilliant and if you get to have a read the tribute from Robbie Savage is ace Thank you to everybody who put a lot of hard work into a fantastic night for the legend Neil Baker.

Sounds like just what Neil deserves. Great to hear that ex players, both recent and not so recent, appreciate all he has done for the club and for their careers. I hope that some of the ill-judged words in the recent press that the manager has said (about Neil's Director of Football post at his beloved Leek Town potentially clashing with his Alex role) about his future are just that; words and not a threat to his future at Gresty Road.

Those present also seem to appreciate him more than some posters on here did last season. He is an Alex legend, Lancelot to Dario's King Arthur if that isn't being a touch romantic!!!

It was a great night I believe that the organisers are looking at producing more of the programmes to sell with the proceeds going to Neil's charity? One sad note not a single director of the club came or the chairman or Dario

A thoroughly deserved tribute to a great servant of the Club. Pity no directors were present. Like AstonAlex, I hope that there is no rancour concerning Neil's post at Leek Town.
