    Next Season's Pre-Season Friendly

The game will be a special Sir Jack tribute game. All the proceeds going to his statue fund. This just announced at the Wolves End of Season Awards.

I'm looking forward to the two local away trips to Crewe and Port Vale in July that have been announced by the club today. Hopefully we take a decent following to both games. - view external link

I think the club want it where the fans can say they've contributed to the statue, we do anyway by buying tickets for matches at Molineux.

So the home friendly will be against Swansea City with all proceeds going directly to The Sir Jack Hayward Statue fund. - view external link

I don't usually do U21 friendlies, but i'm thinking of going to the Sat July 9th fixture vs AFCWulfrunians and the 16th July fixture vs Hednesford_Town.

Great where the proceeds will be headed but with all due respect to 'The Jack's' what a totally uninspiring game to try and fill the Mol and pay due respect to Sir Jack!

Yes, it's good that the proceeds are going to the fund, but as you say, many would have hoped for a team that would, just like the Villa friendly last season, attract a big crowd.

With the Villa coming down we were never going to get them. But as you've said hardly crowd pulling.

I was just using last season's friendly with Villa as an example, at least there was a decent crowd. A team with a similar away following would have been good. If the attendance reaches anything close to 15000 i would be very surprised.
