I like the positives from Stubbs….

Sounds like a level headed bloke….no nonsense type of manager and already asking of the five out of contract
players to say yes/no come Friday….well done for this…we don't need holding to ransom so sign or leave...

Previous players close season dragged it out but this time we have a manager who sounds like he needs to move on and forge his ideas quickly in order to create a team that will bond quickly…

As for Doolan following Stubbs even though he was offered the Hibs Manager job speaks volumes for him…well done fella..

It goes for making Stubbs job easier knowing he has a number 2 who knows how he works and what he strives for….

Keen..mean and hungry so I suppose it all stands in good stead……what's needed now is patience!

Don't get the blog on if we lose a few games first off ….show your support and let things cement…this isn't a Neil Redfearn type of man he sounds like he means business who won't blame what he's been left with….

    UTM!

To be fair he has a pre season to get his team together players he wants and a style of play he wants.

So this would need enough be his team

WLB….Three weeks have passed since the season ended…..he's brand new to everything…the chairman the current team..players out of contract undecided…there are managers out there in our league who still manage the same club from last season so know the score what's going on around them…..he has a lot on his plate so it's not as smooth as you paint it pal...

Hope all five signs tomorrow. Cos I don't want rufc having to find another 10 players. Five more should be enough

listening to his interview he came across like he didn't want to keep all of the 5, I'd be surprised if he let Derbyshire and Broadfoot go not so must the other 3

Seems a decent choice to me but I sense we might have signed another Redfearn, a manager whose plans could be severely restricted by budgets and/or injuries.

Maybe it's a lucky manager we need more than a technically brilliant one.

True Villamiller but Warnock did have more than one lucky result in his short time with us.

Also his managerial skills of signing players under our budget restrictions were never tested.

Only Kirk & Derbs good enough. Wood on the bench. Other 2 Kelly can he keep fit? Best there's something not there, can't describe it but its not there.
