    England v Iceland Matchday Thread

England will never get a better chance of progressing in a major tournament. Iceland won't make it easy for England though.

If they do not win this game I'd make them walk home!

Just the start England needed, Iceland can have no arguments about the penalty won by Sterling. Keeper with no chance with Rooney's penalty.

That didn't last long, the run of Sigurdsson's not tracked, 1-1.

Hart has to be one of the worst England goalkeepers it has been my misfortune to watch! we're right in the deep stuff now!!

He hasn't covered himself in any glory with the Bale free-kick against Wales and the second one he's conceded here. He seems untouchable and irreplaceable as well. Jack Butland out injured and only Forster and Heaton as back up.

Pathetic, truly pathetic. But I still think we will squeak it at the end. In fact I can see us stumbling all the way to the semi-finals! But oh is it embarrasing.
