Hamill is better at right back.

This has been on the cards for some time now therefore it is not a surprise. I never rated Lewis as a full back and was consistently a weak link in that position. Much better as a right half bombing forward though.

Those are the four players away to other clubs that are confirmed.

Obviously I am not going to pre-judge our new signings but I have to say I am not overjoyed to lose these four players and especially those we are losing to rivals. I certainly didn't want to see anybody waving a Falkirk scarf!

This is going to put more pressure on manager and team right from the off.

I doubt if the Manager will be put under the same pressure from the BoD as Fowler was to achieve a top 4 finish. Given the player strength and/or bigger budgets of at least half a dozen other clubs, and the fact that the Club is not willing to splash out big money on players, probably means that just improving on last season's final position will be viewed as acceptable. If there is any pressure on Skelton it may be that we have to do better in Cup Competitions this season.

if what your saying is the case here ,are you happy with that auld chippy ,im certainly not ,thats the kind of attitude from the board that was seen in the harkness era ,happy to prop up the league staying stagnent ,crowds would plummet fast ,and you can only last so long in this sort of league with that sort of attitude ,i just cant see the boards ambition being that low likes ,it would be just as big a killer to the club than over spending to get promotion .

Let's wait and see who else Skelton is going to bring in and what he can get out of the players from last season before we get too negative . This season will be arguably tougher than last and personally speaking can't wait for it to start

    Keep the Faith
