    Steve Bruce

It looks as if Steve Bruce has walked away from Hull.. Could he be walking into Molineux?

I would think we are a favorite to land him.

Don't necessarily think he is a long term option toward sustainability in the Prem, but the odds of us getting to the Prem with him on the touch line are pretty high IMO

Forgot that the Sunderland job is open as well. He might look there first.

Can't see the Mackems wanting him back somehow plus I think David Moyes will get that job.

I hope Wolves go in for him and make up for lost time. I still look back and think of what might have been if Wolves had appointed Steve Bruce after McCarthy got the boot.

Now Moyes has gone to Sunderland. I think Kenny Jackett deserves another season at the helm now we have money to spend.
This last season he had to run a club with his hands tied by lack of money to spend compounded by injuries.
His only criticism I could see was not being assertive in an attacking sense at home games but I think this had alot to do with the lack of attacking options. His post match interviews were honest as he was not afraid to tell it how it was unlike many other managers.
I don't think he has done enough wrong to lose his job and has certainly carried out pre-season with dignity under extreme pressure.

If Mr Potatohead is indeed heading our way I wouldn't be too disappointed.

Yep, that's also what I think.

Why did he walk away from Hull? Maybe there was to be minimum investment in the squad and he didn't fancy another relegation battle. Any other opinions?

No. I think that's pretty much it from what I've read so far.

Off that topic though, I think Bruce still lives, or at least has a home in the Midlands and if that's the case, and the opportunities Wolves take over now presents I wouldn't be surprised if he was interested in the job despite what happened the last time he applied for it.

It's been on the cards for a while, problems with the owners and a potential sale hasn't helped at all.
