    Benfica Midfielder Joao Teixeira

He's not to be confused with Liverpool midfielder Joao Teixeira who has spent time in recent seasons on loan at Brighton, impressed me against Wolves.

Benfica Midfielder Joao Teixeira is rumoured to be another one close to joining Wolves. At least since the takeover we're seeing some movement in the transfer window.

If the express and star's latest article is to be believed, he's signed on a season-long loan from Benfica. I hope he can improve on what's already at the club, which won't be difficult.

If his half hour substitute appearance is anything to go by, Teixeira will excite Wolves fans that's for sure, always wants the ball, skilful and creative. Rarely did he look to play the ball backwards, always on the front foot.

I always think it's best to wait until a new signing has kicked a ball in anger.
