    Wolves To Enter EFL Trophy

Personally i think it is wrong that any side outside of league one and two are able to compete in the competition. I'm all for the U21s getting more competitive action, but having premier league and championship U21 players in the competition devalues it for the league one and two sides.

I agree. If they want academies to be part of professional football, they should have to start from the bottom up like a brand new club would. Unfortunate for the actual league sides

I used to think this competition under all its former names (depending on who were the sponsors), was a pile of pointless monkey toss!!
But we saw the good side of it last season by going all the way to Wembley and winning it, and it was our first ever win there so I/we wont ever forget it.
I think its on its last legs now though with this appalling idea from the FL, that most clubs dont seem to want or agree with.

It's great if you reach wembley and then go on and win it. It is now undervalued by the inclusion of U21 sides.
