    Home form still a concern?

Been terrible for years now and the 2 goals in four mins surrender against Hartlepool hasn't filled me with confidence, a chance to have won a home game with ease not taken as it should have been, at least it's early season and three away games now before the next one to show we can go on a winning home run, still unbeaten so things not bad right now, at least we've stopped the rot and we're playing better than last season!

I agree, we should have wrapped that up (misses by Guthrie and Lowe cost us dear, along with stereotypical Alex defending), but I have to praise Hartlepool. At 3-1 down they came back, looked well-drilled and played a style of football that I thought matched the better skills of the Alex.
I'm not at all disheartened. This is Div 2, we are a Div 2 side (and have been for the last 3 seasons), and the opposition came back at us.
Much better attitude from the Alex and Ryan Lowe is the captain we've been missing for a while. He kept talking, kept encouraging and advising, and it all gives me hope for some entertainment to come.

Last season i wouldn't encourage friends to come because it would have been embarrassing. However, I'm already inviting loads of people to come and see the excitement.

Desperately disappointing to drop 2 points we'd won, but encouraged that instead of then folding (recent seasons) we kept on attacking and could/should still have won. I said at 3-1 "one more and we can relax..." (meaning fans not team!)
