Wolves v Cambridge United Matchday Thread

I expect Walter Zenga to make a few changes for this second round cup-tie tonight. Hopefully Wolves will have enough about them to make it through to the next round.

I expect we could win this game with most of our second team, so I hope we play some of the younger guys. Not because I don't take the competition seriously, but because I'd like Walter and the back room staff to see them playing against a senior squad so we know where they are in their development and what we may or may not have next year or the season after. Mostly looking to get Ennis or Bright some time. They seemed to do well in preseason.

With the squad size and quality on the up, this seems like an ideal time to try for a good cup run. I expect a bit of 'power' on the bench tonight as an insurance against an upset, regardless of what the starting line-up may be.

No Grizz, not a chance, I looked.

2-1 to us already. Costa and Wallace with the goals!

Thanks for your response, Woody, I thought that would be the case. After the luxury of watching the Birmingham game on Saturday, I'm now back to gather the crumbs of information from Wolves Twitter, but that is better than
nothing. As for this game, Cambridge appear to be having a go !!!
