    Barnsley away

Mrs villa has decided that we will be attending this game ......my only problem is the last time we went we had to drink in the leisure centre ,any advice on where to have a pint would be good ...heard some lads today saying that the would be having a pint in wombwell or wath then going to the game
Advice would be good ...a lift would be even better 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Dont think theres much choice around the ground, according to football ground guide theres a pub called Dove Inn on Doncaster Road (5min walk) who are happy to let away fans in normally but not sure on a derby game, otherwise its Metro Dome Leisure or somewhere in town perhaps. Anybody know how many tickets we sold so far? cant wait should be a good en.

Villa, I`ve not been to Oakwell since the t.wat Trevor Kettle was the referee back in 2005, the one that Barnsley scored in the last minute and we had 3 players red carded.
We used to go quite often in winter when Millers games were cancelled, they`re a posh club they have undersoil heating.
We used to go in The Dove Inn or East Dean WMC ( take your club card ) on Donny Road.
The Dove Inn used to be Home & Away fans but not sure if that`s the case now. If some Barnsley fans are looking in on your thread they will put you right about a decent pub.
Enjoy your day, it`s looking like I can`t make this one, no b@rsteward will swap me a shift at work.

There's no problem for any Miller visiting Oakwell next week , any well behaved fans will be welcome in the following , East Dene WMC, Dove Inn , Metrodome leisure centre , or maybe Harborough Hills WMC , all about 10 mins from the ground , avoid Tarn Centre Pubs !!! Enjoy your visit , hope it's a great game !
