For next season, because it's sure as hell we are not planning for this season.Imho this squads not good enough to win league 1 never mind stop in this league. We have gone backwards in the last 3months.Answer,I am not sure but in the Championship you will not survive with the lack of experience we have in this squad in this manager & I am sorry to say the Chairman as well.
Donald that's the trouble mate,it's only the fans that can see we are in trouble but if you say anything you are a set of moaning barsteward. After 58yrs a Miller I can tell T/S now this squad will not survive the Championship.
It only requires a couple of players to be having a bad game in a quality opposition team to make them beatable.
We will have wins that we don't deserve, wins that we do deserve, but we need to remain optimistic.
To be pessimistic after 5 games is very negative, see what happens, see how many points we accrue, and see where that puts us in the
league table at the end of the season.
We may just be surprised.
Derbyshire was a failing striker at Forest.
Best was a journeyman and not prolific scorer.
Pringle was not exactly superstar status at Derby.
Agard begged us for a contract.
Dicko was an unknown who we put in the shop window.
And.....they all did a lot better for us than their previous clubs, so don't write off the new
signings just yet folks.
I do agree with a lot of what as been said on various threads so far and I can completely understand where you're coming from, but can't help thinking back to last season and with 14-15 games to go last season that statement would be perfectly correct also.
Yet!!!
I know, I know, we can't keep relying on miracles, but they sometimes do happen and that's what I'm kind of pinning my hopes on.
Trust me by nature I'm normally not even a 'glass half empty' kind of guy, more a '5hit! who's knocked my glass over' bloke. A pessimist is never disappointed and all that, but heyy isn't beer brilliant![]()
