Richard Stearman On His Way Back To Wolves?

I'm only going off the story on The Express and Star website, but the paper seems to think Wolves have made a move for him. I wouldn't be against him rejoining the club if the rumour is true. It could all just be paper talk.

I think if its true, its a bl**dy ridiculous step backwards. We need to move on and I thought we were, with all the other signings. Nothing against RS, but IMO, not right for us NOW.

I don't think Batth and Stearman are the best pairing at CB. But they might be the best we have at the moment. Dom and Hause have been pretty inconsistent and mistakes from them could cost us points in this league.

But I am surprised we've been willing to spend so much money on the midfield and fowards and don't seem to be doing so with the back. Silvio and Borthwick-Jackson, not withstanding.

I agree Jon. I find it interesting reading other sites and some of the ridiculous comments about Stearman. Yes, he made mistakes in the past but, he was the fans and the players Player of the Year in his last full season. Short memories abound!

I'm glad his loan signing has been confirmed. It's a pity the old regime let him go in the first place.

Well pleased to see him back, shouldn't have been sold when he was.

When he was sold last year I thought it was an act of criminal negligence by the Wolves Owner/Administration. In hindsight it is clear to see that Morgan's declarations of serious intent about our future was less than honest. Anyway, Stears is back and, hopefully, he will perform well enough to convert his loan signing into a long term contract. At the time of his leaving I thought he showed the potential of a future team captain...time will tell. He comes across as a decent young man and I wish him every success second time around.
