So we continue to follow that well-trodden path of signing players who aren't fit to play yet.
It does take the gloss off the signing a bit if he isn't going to be out there on Saturday.

Mellow can't you put a positive slant on anything? What about his record of scoring 1 in 3 games at Championship level? That should be at least 10 goals this season, ans we've not had anybody do that for a few years.

He is physically fit, he's just passed a medical, he's just not match fit. He gets match fit playing matches and if he'd been playing matches at Forest he wouldn't be here.

I'm just making the point that it will be disappointing if we've signed a striker who isn't immediately available when we desperately need someone to put the ball in the net.
I'd love to see him start on Saturday but the article in the Star suggests he won't.

Just to be pedantic, his record at Forest was about 1 goal every 4 games but I hope he improves on that with us.
Oh, and have you conveniently forgotten about Matt Derbyshire's goals?

Dexter bit of a gambler. Any tips will be appreciated.

Hope he's a racing man. Not gambling today, cashing out?

    "He's just passed a medical"

So did Sessi D'Almeida ( yes I did have to look it up ) and he's out with a knee injury - I am NOT being negative - just saying!

I watched a lot of his UTUBE rehab' vid's and they did treat him well - went to USA for special rehab' work....and a lot of strength work. He says that it's made him appreciate his football and that bodes well. TOUCH WOOD!

At 30 and with young Dennis Circuit he'll be knocking 20 goals every year for next 5 years - NOT forgetting what he can do for our young-us because 7 years at one club is special !

    Good shooting DEX !
